Here's what new at the Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair in 2018

New in 2018 - The Distiller's Quarter

Next month we’ll be welcoming some of the top brewers and distillers from around the world, along with over 5,000 attendees, to Ireland’s largest craft brews gathering for our annual event. This is the sixth year we’re hosting it and there are lots of new additions to look forward to!

If you’re joining us on Thursday 8th, Friday 9th or Saturday 10th March, whether with your work colleagues or your friends, here are just some of the new features of our event you’ll be able to enjoy…

1. Distiller’s Quarter

The new Distiller’s Quarter will serve the best craft spirits and cocktails created by some of the world’s leading mixologists. This new area will offer a cosy lounge feel where you’ll have the opportunity to sample a range of tasty combinations, some of which will have been developed exclusively for the Fair!

2. New Irish craft drinks companies!

Every year we help the best (and newest) of Ireland’s craft beer, cider and distilled drink producers to bring their names to people of Dublin and beyond and this year is no different!

For 2018 we’ll be welcoming Kinsale Mead Company, Ireland’s first producer of Mead in many years, Ha’Penny Gin, who will introduce a new Rhubarb Gin at the event, Beara Distillery which was founded in September 2017 by siblings passionate about all things gin, along with two new craft breweries - Ballykilcavan Brewing Company who launched their first two beers last summer and Larkins Brewing Company who have just launched three core beers in January 2018.

3. Limited edition brews

There’ll be more than 400 brews on offer at our Fair. Many of them will be well-established favourites, but many will be new innovations, collaborations, and seasonal specials. These include Reel Deel Brewery’s Juniper and Orange Ale brewed in collaboration with James Brown Brews, Rascal Brewing Company’s barrel-aged beers including Flanders Red, aged in Sangiovese red wine barrels, Boyne Brewhouse’s limited edition Imperial Stout (they'll be bringing their brand new Cooney's Irish Cider to the event also), a new honey beer by Galway Hooker and more!

If all of this along with lots of live music, delicious food and a day to remember sounds like a good idea, you can get your tickets here.
