Bridewell Brewery

Bridewell Brewery in Clifden, County Galway produces two core draught beers - Bridewell Blond and Bridewell Red. The brewery draws on the rich history of its locality, as the ‘Bridewell’ or ‘Old Gaol’ was built over two hundred years ago as part of an effort by the British Government to tame the area rife with smuggling and illegal alcohol production. Focusing on localised distribution, Bridewell is currently served in sixteen establishments within County Galway, many of which are based in its native Clifden.
